Battlefront’s long Bespin playlist charted by Redditor!

Bespin DLC villain Dengar

The Bespin playlist is a tricky beast to figure out.

Thanks to some work from an industrious Redditor, we now know the order of that DLC’s playlist. There has yet to be any sort of official documentation on the matter by DICE, so this compilation is quite nice.

All told, the DLC playlist features 22 map changes throughout its seven modes (“x2” indicates the mode is played twice on particular map):

  • Sabotage (x2): Carbonite-Freezing Chambers
  • Walker Assault (x2): Cloud City
  • Sabotage (x2): Administrator’s Palace
  • Drop Zone: Bioniip Laboratories
  • Sabotage (x2): Cloud City
  • Fighter Squadron: Bespin Airspace
  • Sabotage (x2): Carbonite-Freezing Chambers
  • Blast: Bioniip Laboratories
  • Sabotage (x2): Administrators Palace
  • Turning Point: Cloud City
  • Sabotage (x2): Carbonite-Freezing Chambers
  • Blast: Administrator’s Palace
  • Sabotage (x2): Bioniip Laboratories
  • Walker Assault (x2): Cloud City
  • Sabotage (x2): Carbonite-Freezing Chambers
  • Fighter Squadron: Bespin Airspace
  • Sabotage (x2): Administrator’s Palace
  • Drop Zone: Bioniip Laboratories
  • Sabotage (x2): Cloud City
  • Blast: Carbonite-Freezing Chambers
  • Sabotage (x2): Administrator’s Palace
  • Supremacy: Cloud City

For the Bespin-exclusive mode Sabotage, Administrator’s Palace and Carbonite-Freezing Chambers make it in four times each. Cloud City has three appearances in the rotation while Bioniip Laboratories makes it in just a single time.

Going by total count (and ignoring the return leg on modes that play twice in a row on each map), Cloud City has six appearances while Carbonite-Freezing Chamber and Administrator’s Palace both garner five. Bioniip Laboratories again lags behind, this time with four occurrences while the Fighter Squadron-only map Bespin Airspace is included twice.

By mode (again ignoring return legs), Sabotage appears every other time for a total of 11 occurances. Blasts makes it in three times while Drop Zone, Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron appear twice. Supremacy and Turning Point both register a count of one.

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of how the seven different modes make the Bespin playlist so bloated. The bias against different maps is also somewhat frustrating, too, as I quite enjoy the Bioniip Laboratories. Alas, the playlist is unlikely to change, especially with the Death Star on the horizon.

(Big thanks to u/11001001aaa for their work!)
