Battlefront’s Bespin free trial has begun; runs through Sunday (Updated)
Getting ready to see some of Lando’s winning smile.
If you’ve yet to log into Battlefront today, the open trial for the Bespin expansion has now started for those who haven’t purchased the DLC. It will run through Sunday, September 18.
EA/DICE have still been silent regarding the exact time the trial will end. However, the last Bespin trial ended at 8 a.m. UTC on its final day, so I wouldn’t be shocked to see something similar here.
DICE did release a blog post today about the free trial, though. It details Bespin’s maps, the exclusive mode Sabotage and also notes that the Hutt Contracts specific to the Bespin expansion won’t be available to those who haven’t actually purchased the DLC.
It’s worth adding that the files for Bespin have already been downloaded onto your system. Additionally, the trial requires a copy of Battlefront with the applicable online service for your platform.
Update 12:10 p.m. PT: EA Star Wars just tweeted that the trial will run until 7 a.m. UTC on Sunday:
