New Hutt Contract requirements for Battlefront’s Death Star DLC revealed!
Edit: Looking for more tips on how to unlock the new Hutt Contracts? Take a look at my experiences and thoughts post.
After today’s livestream, Elliot of BattlefrontUpdates posted a new video revealing the Hutt Contract requirements for items coming with the Death Star.
I’ll break the Hutt Contracts down into sections by weapon/Star Card:
TL-50 Heavy Repeater
Imperial Instrument
Cost: 3,500
Requirements:
- Get 20 kills playing as an Imperial soldier
- Get 75 heavy blaster kills
- Win a round of Battle Station game mode from the Death Star DLC
Note: As a reminder, the heavy blasters currently in-game are the DLT-19, the RT-97c and the T-21… The TL-50 has a secondary fire mode that shoots a concussion blast. It can be triggered by holding down the zoom button and then pressing the fire button once the blast is fully charged… Its standard fire is also the highest rate of fire in Battlefront… Edit: combining a heavy blaster such as the DLT-19 or the RT-97c with the explosive shot can enable you to melt right through those 75 heavy blaster kills.
K-16 Bryar Pistol
Dark Enforcer
Cost: 3,500
Requirements:
- Get 10 kills with blaster pistols
- Get 25 kills as Han Solo
- Get 3 blaster pistol streaks
Notes: To get a blaster pistol streak, you must get seven kills in one match with a blaster pistol… I’d reckon playing Heroes vs Villains will be the easiest way to rack up those Han Solo kills… Like the TL-50, the K-16 has a secondary fire mode. Hold down the zoom button to charge up the bolt and then press down the primary fire button once the bolt is fully charged.
Medical Droid
Surgeon
Cost: 3,500
Requirements:
- Heal 10 team members
- Reach level 3 on the Survivalist trait
Surgeon II
Cost: 8,000
Requirements:
- Heal 20 team members
- Get a total of 1500 objective score in Battle Station
The Medical Droid pulses a bacta cloud that also improves cooldowns for yours and teammates’ Star Cards… It has a limited number of pulses (Elliot estimated 10 total pulses)… I haven’t heard how much better the upgraded card’s cooldown is, but I’m sure we’ll find out shortly… To reach level 3 of a trait, you must kill six enemies in one life. Edit: the “Heal 20 team members” in Surgeon II does not require use of the Medic Droid. You can more quickly rack up heals with a Bacta Bomb.
Laser Trip Mine
Sapper
Cost: 3,500
Requirements:
- Get 10 explosive kills
- Get 20 kills while playing with the Scout trait
Sapper II
Cost: 8,000
Requirements:
- Get 5 kills with the Laser Trip Mine
- Get 50 explosive kills
The Laser Trip mine sends a laser out and when an enemy crosses the laser, it triggers an explosion… It’s best placed on walls, rather than floors, to make it more likely for an enemy to trigger the laser… Besides the explosion, it also scrambles enemies’ radars by causing their radar to turn into static… Explosive kills can be garned by Star Cards like thermal detonators and barrages, as well as pick-ups like proximity mines and thermal imploders.

Upgraded cooldown on Medical Droid is 40 seconds. Still not sure about its usefulness vs the space it takes up in a loadout though… It does, however it was intended aside, make for a damn good impromptu shield when in a pinch :]
