New Hasbro helmet to feature Battlefront’s Shadow Trooper

A new Shadow Trooper helmet will available for purchase soon.

Selling exclusively on Amazon, the helmet will retail for $79.99. The age recommendation is 5 years and up.

According to /Film, its official product description reads:

Disguise your voice like the shadow warrior from ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY! Intimidate the Rebel Alliance with mirrored lenses and an exclusive black SHADOW TROOPER deco. Press the button to activate voice-changing technology for several seconds, allowing for hands-free play! Requires 3 AAA batteries, not included. Available exclusively at Amazon.

You’ll likely be able to purchase the helmet on Amazon starting with Force Friday on September 30. A regular stormtrooper version has previously been available, although it’s been marked up since its original release. It’s definitely an interesting choice to market the helmet as Battlefront tie-in, especially considering Disney’s marketing push right now is for the upcoming Rogue One movie. Either way, it’s pretty cool and I figured it’s worth sharing since it concerns a Battlefront skin.

I don’t see any word in the description talking about the helmet giving you a cloaking ability, but maybe they’re keeping that feature under wraps… 🙂
