Battlefront playtest set for tomorrow in Stockholm
DICE has slated a Battlefront playtest for tomorrow in Stockholm, Sweden.
While it is currently unknown what the playtest will be specifically for, Elliot of BattlefrontUpdates recently revealed he’ll be attending:
Nice, got a spot for the Battlefront playtest tomorrow, curious what it will be :p (Guessing Scarif)

It’s certainly possible the playtest will revolve around the Rogue One: Scarif DLC. People playtested the first phase of the Death Star’s Battle Station mode over a month before the expansion officially dropped. Considering that multi-stage gameplay is potentially arriving to the Rogue One DLC, perhaps a similar thing will be happening here.
I could also see it pertaining to Hero Blast. Data miner Uninspired Zebra recently found the officially unannounced mode in game files, and so it’s possible that it will be arriving to the game in the next update. As such, holding a playtest event just prior doesn’t seem unreasonable.
I was unable to find much else on this playtest, other than the fact that a survey for it popped up a few weeks ago. Besides being for those in “Journalism and Public Relations”, if I recall correctly, it required playtesters to be local to the Stockholm, Sweden area.
Certainly intriguing stuff. Hopefully, with a playtest happening this week, Battlefront won’t have to wait long for its next patch.
