More details regarding Battlefront fixes, Rogue One heroes emerge!

After the onslaught of information regarding Battlefront earlier today, hero designer Guillaume Mroz has been back at it.

To begin, Mroz hinted that Rogue One DLC’s heroes Jyn Erso and Director Krennic are well on their way. Via Google Translate and my one year of college French, Mroz stated that the two heroes are “on the starting blocks.” He also added that much of his time is focused on the upcoming DLC.

Next, Mroz noted that the multi-hero glitch in Walker Assault and Hero Hunt is fixed on local builds; however, he “can’t give any dates to when it is deployed.”

He further added:

Mroz also declined to comment on teases regarding further specifics on the Rogue One DLC.

Considering how secretive Star Wars can be, this is understandable. It’s possible that Jyn and Krennic’s abilities in Battlefront may give insight into the Rogue One movie that Disney doesn’t want out yet.

Another topic Mroz hasn’t commented on (which he maybe hinted at in the past) is traits for the vanilla heroes. While all expansion heroes have traits that augment a particular ability, vanilla heroes that launched with the game, like Darth Vader and Han Solo, don’t receive such a bonus. Adding in traits for vanilla heroes could mix gameplay up a bit. This would be especially exciting considering that Hero Blast may just be around the corner.

All told, it’s great to see a dev interacting with the community. It’s also exciting to think that the Rogue One DLC (and the new movie) will be out next month!

Edit: I’ll add that there’s another exchange where Mroz may indicate a Chewbacca buff is inbound. However, it’s not 100-percent clear if he’s confirming the buff, or just playing around with grammar.
