Battlefront dev completes work on Death Star DLC!

Construction of the Death Star.

Level artist Daniel Cambrand tweeted earlier today that he has finished his part in Battlefront’s Death Star expansion.

Cambrand’s tweet reads “My work on the #StarWarsBattlefront Death Star DLC is done! Now enjoying the archipelago with friends and my girl.”

For reference sake, Cambrand tweeted that he was finished with Bespin on June 1, which was 20 days prior to the release of that expansion.

If the same is true in this case, it’s very likely the Death Star DLC will release on September 20 for Season Pass holders. At this point, September 20 is a little more than three weeks out.

I had previously speculated (as had many others) that the Death Star would release on September 20 for Season Pass holders because there will be a double points event over the weekend starting September 23 “to celebrate the launch of the Death Star expansion for Season Pass owners.”

Cambrand previously worked on the Administrator’s Palace map for the Bespin DLC and Jabba’s Palace Garage for the Outer Rim DLC.
