Escape Artist arrives to Battlefront in latest Hutt Contract!
Get ready to run fast in Battlefront.
After being spotted in gameplay videos back in June, the Escape Artist trait is finally available. You can unlock this trait, which boosts sprint speed and melee strikes, via a new Hutt Contract titled “Escape”. Jabba demands that you pay him 8,500 credits in order to open up the contract.
As previously mentioned, the requirements to unlock Escape Artist after purchasing the Hutt Contract are:
- Five enemies meleed
- 10 uplink defended events

And yes, my Hutt Contracts are lacking. I play on Xbox normally…
The benefits of the trait itself are:
- Level One: Small sprint speed boost
- Level Two: High sprint speed boost
- Level Three: High sprint speed boost and melee strikes instantly kill
Because Escape Artist arrived today, that means the CJ-9 Bo-Rifle will likely be available when the Death Star update comes out next month. You can find out what we know so far about that Lasat weapon in this post.

Uplink defenses can be obtained on Walker Assault by killing enemies near uplinks. Not sure of the precise distance, but as long as you hang out around uplinks, kills should count towards the total.
