YouTube video highlights Escape Artist bonuses in Battlefront
The latest addition to Battlefront—the Escape Artist trait—gives you speed. But how much speed?
According to the in-game notifications, the trait grants a 50-percent increase over normal sprint speed at level two. Following that logic, I assume the level one bonus is 25-percent. Level three doesn’t increase sprint speed; instead, it adds the instant melee kill ability.
To get a better visual sense of what this all means, YouTuber SuolakalaSWBF made a comparison video. The video looks at both sprint levels for the trait against Greedo, Luke Skywalker and the base infantry sprint speed.
The big takeaway for me is that level two of Escape Artist is actually faster than Greedo’s sprint speed, which isn’t something I’d expect. Both levels are also faster than Luke’s sprint speed.
SuolakalaSWBF also looked how the level three “Enhanced Melee” attack does against Bacta Bomb users. It appears that it takes away 120 health points, as the player soaked in bacta had 10 health left after getting meleed.
