SWGO’s Top 5 Highlights for the week of September 2
The Escape Artist stole the show this week.
Battlefront released the new trait via a Hutt Contract on Tuesday and no other news really topped it. Regardless, here are The Star Wars Game Outpost’s Top 5 Highlights for this past week:
1. The Escape Artist arrives
This new trait boosts sprint speed at levels one and two and then adds instant melee kill at level three. The trait released Tuesday in favor of the CJ-9 Bo-Rifle, which will likely be coming alongside the Death Star DLC. If you need help unlocking Escape Artist, or are curious for our thoughts, we did a breakdown of it. We also shared a video showing just how beneficial the trait is regarding its speed boost.
2. Devs commented on Death Star DLC work
On Saturday, level artist Daniel Cambrand tweeted that he had completed his part in the Death Star DLC. This led to some speculation that the DICE team was finished working on the upcoming expansion. However, lighting artist Oscar Carlen confirmed a day later that he was still working on the battle station.
As it’s been nearly a week since those exchanges, we don’t really know the current progress of the content. However, the Death Star’s arrival is surely right around the corner.
3. Beautiful Battlefront concept art was found
A Reddit user found a stockpile of Battlefront concept art by Anton Grandet. Some of the art has been seen before, but plenty of it hadn’t been widely shared previously. From the forests of Endor to the hot factories of Sullust, this is definitely some gorgeous Battlefront concept art.
4. Next patch will be with the Death Star DLC
Forum mod for Battlefront Jaywal commented on Monday that the next patch will be alongside the Death Star. While a patch this week would’ve been nice, hopefully bugs with Skirmish and Heroes vs Villains on PC will be fixed by the end of the month.
5. Potential Rogue One outfits were shown off
Two potential outfits for Battlefront made their way onto the internet this week. First came the Imperial Ground Crew. Ground crew members rocked a baton and wear a black garb that reminds be a bit of the Death Star gunners.
Later on in the week, the Scarif Rebel Pathfinder was revealed as Galaxy of Heroes’ login item for the month of September. Besides being a new item for that game, perhaps this skin will somehow work its way into Battlefront once the Rogue One DLC rolls around.
