In anticipation of October 7th’s Eternal Throne expansion reveal at the New York Comic Con, a new soundtrack piece for Star Wars: The Old Republic released.

Titled “A War of Heirs”, you can give a listen below. The YouTube description of the track reads: “A War of Heirs: Wage war against a powerful ruling family, and discover the hidden ambitions threatening to tear them apart.”

This is actually the first of ten soundtrack pieces to be released in the coming days. One track will be released daily up until October 7.

The community manager for SWTOR, Eric Munsco previously announced that the Eternal Throne reveal will be coming October 7 at New York Comic Con.

“The day/night of our New York Comic-con Cantina is when you can expect details about Eternal Throne,” he wrote on the game’s official forums. “Once we have crossed the 7th (and through launch), I will be able to address questions in the forum more directly, we will be posting developer blogs related to the expansion, and more.”

According to the press release for the event, the SWTOR Cantina will be at 7 p.m. ET in New York on October 7 and will feature “a development team Q&A.”

I’ll be staying updated regarding the new upcoming tracks in the following days, so be sure to keep checking back!
