A look at some Rogue One DLC art for Battlefront that recently surfaced online

While the Rogue One: Scarif expansion for Battlefront has been out for over a month now, some new art for the DLC just arrived online.

First up is the work of Alex Sashin, who is a 3D artist at EA/DICE. Sashin designed at created the model for the A180 blaster in its ion configuration, which you can see embedded below in all its high-detail glory. Sashin also worked on Battlefield 1 and Battlefront’s Sonic Imploder, so I recommend checking out his ArtStation page if you want to see more.

Next up is Esbjörn Nord, a concept art intern at DICE. Nord’s concept pieces showcase the various skirmishes across Scarif that are featured in Battlefront. As with Sashin, Nord has work on other projects that you can check out on his ArtStation page.

One this I will note is that Nord’s concepts make me wish we could’ve had a bit more vehicular combat over Scarif’s surface. A map closer or inside the Citadel (which is featured in the last image) would also have been really cool.
