Galaxy of Heroes reveals the name of that death trooper dropship [Spoilers]
WARNING: Minor Rogue One spoilers ahead!
During the climactic battle sequence in Rogue One, death troopers can be seen joining the fray on Scarif via some type of TIE-like dropship.
Unfortunately, the ship wasn’t in the movie’s visual guide, so its name remained mysterious. The latest Galaxy of Heroes updated changed that, however, and revealed the ship to be called “TIE Reaper”.
Lucasfilm Story Group’s Pablo Hidalgo confirmed the name as canon via Twitter:
Galaxy of Heroes does indeed reveal the death trooper dropship name. [crosses that off the FAQ]

Hidalgo later noted that the TIE Reaper didn’t make the visual guide because “the ship wasn’t named until November, and the book went to print in October.”
Unfortunately, there are no high-resolution shots of the TIE Reaper just yet. However, SWGOH.gg does have an info page on the ship and it includes this datamined image:
Interestingly, Hidalgo also added that the team on Galaxy of Heroes can use anything from EA’s games or the SWTOR universe:

This perhaps gives a hint towards that mysterious character tease from yesterday. However, game dev Capgasp wrote on Reddit:
Keep in mind it takes weeks of work to create one character and we have a pretty decent list of what we want to do. Please don’t read into tweets too much.
Looks like they’re still playing that one close to the chest! Even so, it’s cool to finally have a name for the TIE Reaper.
