The biggest news, however, is the fact that the Rebels TV show character Chopper will be joining the fray. Chopper was teased in the update notes as the daily login character for March:
Our next daily login character can be a cantankerous clanker, and can sometimes have a bad attitude. But they’re also incredibly loyal and heroic
His inclusion was then confirmed by community manager Jesse Anderson on Twitter:

Anderson later hinted that some of Chopper’s Rebels colleagues might also make their way to Galaxy of Heroes:

Chopper (or C1-10P) is an astromech droid who work with the crew of the Ghost on Rebels. The C1 astromech is known for a finicky and mischievous personality. Still, he’s loyal enough that the Rebellion named a base after him. He’s also a constant source of humor for the show and made a short cameo in Rogue One.
Certainly cool to see Rebels getting some video game love! It’s an awesome show and hopefully we might see a full game for it one day—at least beyond the Recon Missions game for mobile devices that was shuttered last summer.
I think some other droids they should add is the Driodika, sense he is big in a lot of the movies and TV show. He should probably have a repair shield move and when he does have his shield it should show it around him just like in the movies.
