Here’s some community-made Battlefront 2 concepts that a dev responded to
Battlefront developers have promised to consider community feedback for the sequel and it looks like they’re holding themselves to that promise.
The primary hero designer on the past Battlefront, Guillaume Mroz, recently mentioned a thread from the official forums that covered some hero concepts for the sequel:

Awesome and inspiring thread @Thiago2103YEHAW (I'm assuming?) and Ahsoka_Thano. Great job!

The “Real Thrawn” concept was especially funny because it included a old picture of Mroz himself dressed up as the Grand Admiral.
Note, of course, just because Mroz called the thread “awesome and inspiring” doesn’t mean these ideas or characters will make it into the sequel.
However, it will be interesting to see if any of the ideas do happen. Mroz noted that he’s part of a bigger team after designing the heroes solo throughout the 2015 Battlefront’s Season Pass, so hopefully we’ll get a robust hero offering upon the sequel’s launch.
The concepts, which you can pursue on this thread, were a collective effort from the community, although users thiago2103 and Ahsoka_Tano posted the ideas, with Ahsoka_Tano designing the concept images. Other community members involved with the concepts include Whodunnit, 2000sGuy, Alan_ackbar, thirdDegreePun, Darkaid, Thegeneral122513 and LysdexicsUntied. Huge props for coming up with such detailed concepts!
It’s especially cool for me to see the community come together with these designs—I believe there are 34 hero conceptualized in total—because one of the places I got my start sharing Battlefront news was on the forums. It’s also cool to see a dev response because those working on the sequel have indicated recently that they’re paying attention to community requests.
Here are a few of my favorite concepts:
