All the clues from the official EA Battlefront II website

Earlier today, the official website for EA’s Battlefront II went live.

While the page doesn’t reveal too much about EA’s Battlefront sequel, I still figured it would be fun to look at some of the clues it does provide.

Besides the revamped Battlefront II logo above, there’s a few other clues I delve into below:

A mysterious logo

Battlefront II teaser image.

The above logo is featured as the background of the webpage. As pointed out by several users on Twitter (H/T to JangosTV and Soaring Sullustan), this logo seems to match the design on the helmet of the TIE Pilot from the leaked trailer.

You can also see the logo on a tweet by the official EA Star Wars account (I’ve embedded it further down the page).

The best theory I’ve heard is that this is the insignia of Inferno Squad, an elite Imperial squad that is the focus of a new novel of the same name. According to Jedi Bibliothek, this novel may tie into Battlefront II (based on an old Amazon listing), but I’ve yet to find solid proof indicating this is true.

The return of emotes

Those that register for the Star Wars newsletter will gain access to the “Not the Droids” emote. This is the first time emotes have been confirmed for Battlefront II. It might also be the first mention of the Separatist’s battle units, although the emote title itself is a reference to Obi-Wan Kenobi’s “These are not the droids you’re looking for” line from a New Hope.

Raxus Prime

As pointed out by Reddit user tarhunza, planet Raxus Prime is mentioned as the name of a font on the webpage’s HTML code. Raxus Prime is junk planet that has only been shown in galactic guides in the current canon. Non-canon-wise, the planet showed up in the first Force Unleashed game a several Boba Fett novels.

Perhaps this indicates that the planet will be playable in Battlefront II. That said, it’s also possible that this is merely an Easter egg slotted in by the font’s designer.

“Incoming Transmission”

The Aurebrush text in the bottom left corner of the page reads “Incoming transmission”. This likely refers to the full trailer that will drop this Saturday, April 15 at 11:30 a.m. PT/2:30 p.m. ET at Star Wars Celebration. EA has also promised the reveal will be streamed live online.

Countdown timers

In the upper right-hand side of the page are several timers. It’s possible these are for some more information that will arrive tomorrow, or for the full reveal trailer on Saturday. However, it’s not really clear. Both the circles that are moving currently are going at a fairly quick pace.

“Strength Order”

Beyond the webpage, the below tweet by the official EA Star Wars account includes Aurebrush text that reads “Strength Order” (H/T JodoCast on Twitter). My guess is that this relates to some sort of Imperial slogan that ties in with the campaign. However, that’s just a wild guess on my part.

More to come…

In the latest episode of the Star Wars show, host Andi Gutierrez promised that “more will be revealed tomorrow” on site. However, it’s not known what exactly will be revealed. It’s possible it could be that leaked trailer. I also wouldn’t be shocked if it was some type of concept art or promotional screenshots.

Have you found any other clues? I’m currently in-the-air flying to Star Wars Celebration, so there’s a good chance I missed something. Let us know what you found in the comments below, or share with SWGO on Twitter or Facebook.
