Microsoft recently announced that a pair of classic Star Wars games will be free to download for Xbox Live Gold subscribers during the month of May.

The games included in the company’s Games with Gold offering for May are The Force Unleashed II from 2010 and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga from 2007. Both titles are Xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible on the Xbox One.

The download window for The Force Unleashed II is May 1 to 15. LEGO Star Wars can be downloaded from May 16 to 31. Note that as both games are Xbox 360 tiles, once you download them, they’ll be yours to keep even if you discontinue your Xbox Live Gold membership.

They join Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Director’s Cut and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris as the other two Games with Gold titles for May.

This is the second time Microsoft has included Star Wars in Games with Gold. The first Force Unleashed game was part of February’s promotion.

If you are curious what other Star Wars titles could potentially be seen in future Games with Gold offerings, the list of remaining Xbox 360 and Xbox One Star Wars games includes: The Clone Wars – Republic Heroes, Angry Birds Star Wars, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Battlefront.

Xbox Live Gold is a paid subscription service offered by Microsoft for their Xbox platform. Buying a yearly subscription through Microsoft will run you $4.99 per month. Games with Gold is a benefit of the service that allows subscribers to download various Xbox One and Xbox 360 games that rotate monthly for free.
