With EA PLAY kicking off a week from Saturday at the Hollywood Palladium, EA has been gearing up Los Angeles for the event with some awesome Battlefront II billboards.

Probably the coolest billboard is the three-panel advertisement on the side of the Hotel Figueroa that’s situated in downtown Los Angeles.

After work began roughly a week ago, the piece is now finished. As shared by a Twitter user who goes by Joker:

Progress had progressed quickly on the billboard. Here’s the initial shot by Redditor Lokismoke from last week:

Then an update by Geoff Keighley that was taken on Thursday:

Here’s the last update before completion, from Redditor briandt75, who shared this image on Monday:

All told, pretty neat! The panels on the 12-story Hotel Figueroa have to be hand-painted due to restrictions on billboards in Los Angeles, which makes this all the more amazing.

If you’re able to make it to the Los Angeles area June 10 through 12, tickets to EA PLAY can be picked up for free. I’ve been lucky enough to be invited to the event by EA and hope to see some of you there!

A kick-off presentation for EA PLAY will be livestreamed at Noon PT / 3 p.m. ET on June 10. That event will feature EA’s “biggest games of the year ahead.” Additionally, Battlefront II’s gameplay reveal is slated for June 10, so it’s a fair bet that’ll we’ll get an in-depth look at the game there.

EA has promised to further livestream “behind-the-scenes looks and developer interviews” as well as “in-depth gameplay walkthroughs and new gameplay footage” of their games. The game’s community manager Mat Everett also shared this tease on Twitter, indicating that we’ll get a slew of details on Battlefront II throughout the weekend:

That tweet came after producer Paul Keslin confirmed that we won’t see any Battlefront II news until EA PLAY.

Battlefront II will arrive on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this November 17. Stay up-to-date on all things Battlefront II by connecting with SWGO on Facebook or Twitter.
