It’s time to update the confirmed hero list for Battlefront II

Darth Maul render Battlefront II.

A slew of new heroes were confirmed for Battlefront II during today’s EA PLAY kick-off livestream.

This bumps up the confirmed hero count of six that came after Star Wars Celebration. Additionally, according to YouTuber and EA Game Changer Xfactor Gaming, Battlefront II will contain 14 heroes (I’m not sure if this includes the two free heroes that’ll arrive in December, but I suspect not). We currently know about eight that’ll be in the game come November 17 (plus the two post-launch ones), so there’s plenty more to be revealed in the coming months.

So—starting off with the newly-confirmed heroes—here’s the updated list:

  • Darth Vader (shown in today’s trailer)
  • Boba Fett (shown in today’s trailer)
  • Finn (available post-launch in December)
  • Captain Phasma (available post-launch in December)
  • Darth Maul
  • Rey
  • Han Solo
  • Kylo Ren
  • Luke Skywalker
  • Yoda

It’s also worth noting we have seen the above concept art of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jango Fett’s ships, so I wouldn’t be surprised if those characters made it into the game. Besides those two, I’ll be curious to see if the campaign’s protagonist, Iden Versio, will be a playable character on the multiplayer side of things.

In the coming days I’ll try to go more in-depth as to what we know about them in terms of abilities and other customization aspects. Still, I figured a quick summary was still worth doing!

Battlefront II arrives November 17 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Stay up-to-date by following SWGO on Facebook or Twitter.

Any news about Rebels and Clone Wars when Finn and Phasma are only available post launch?
