As reported by gamesindustry.biz, Facebook released data on what games dominated the social media site’s conversation during the week of E3.

Battlefront II topped the charts, with 110,000 people on Facebook discussing the game during the EA PLAY kick-off presentation on June 10. That well outstripped other games during E3 week, such as FIFA 18 (topped out at 70,000 people) and Assassin’s Creed Origins (just broke 60,000 people).

All told, it certainly seems that Battlefront II was the highlight of E3 2017. Besides taking Facebook’s crown, the game also topped YouTube’s list of most viewed games, again shooting past Assassin’s Creed Origins and FIFA 18 for the No. 1 spot.

Battlefront II’s gameplay trailer was also the most-watched trailer during E3. According to Polygon, the trailer tallied 8.7 million views, beating out second-place Super Mario Odyssey by over 3 million views. However, it is worth noting that the Super Mario Odyssey trailer eventually caught up to the Battlefront one and currently leads 11 million views to 10.1 million.

With EA PLAY and E3 behind us, all eyes for Battlefront II turn to Gamescom in August, where the game’s space combat is promised to be fleshed out further. Before Gamescom, however, we should get some clues regarding Battlefront II at Disney’s D23 event during the expo’s video game showcase on July 15.

Battlefront II drops November 17 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Follow all the Battlefront II news by connecting with SWGO on Facebook or Twitter.
