Battlefront: More info on the Lando Power Blast situation
As of late Lando’s Power Blast has been perhaps a bit, erm, too powerful.
Thankfully, former lead designer Dennis Brannvall confirmed early this morning that a fix is hopefully inbound soon. Hero designer Guillaume Mroz then took to Twitter to discuss the situation in further detail:
Lando will be fixed via a server patch. Means that you playing lando will still see a bullet fired using the glitch but it will not damage.

So this seems to indicate that visually, the glitch will still be present. However, it should no longer affect the balance of matches. Mroz also stated that a more robust fix will come later down the line:
“The ‘proper’ fix needs a code change and will come later on,” he wrote. “Our goal is to contain the issue as fast as possible.”
He later added that he “can’t give a date but it shouldn’t be extremely long” for the fix to arrive.
Additionally, producer Paul Keslin has confirmed that the CJ-9 Bo-Rifle isn’t out in the wild online yet:
@JamieJamsol1 @SWBFUpdates Not yet!

He further added that they’ll “make it known” once the Bo-Rifle does indeed drop online.
The Bo-Rifle is rumored to be a “viral pickup” dispersed through the community via the developers. No date is set yet for the weapon’s online release; however, it can currently be equipped offline in Skirmish and Missions.
