Battlefront’s K-16 Pistol, TL-50 Repeater to see changes
Looks like the Death Star’s exclusive weapons in Battlefront will be getting some tweaks.
Earlier today weapons designer Christian Johennesen took to Twitter to discuss both the K-16 Bryar Pistol and the TL-50 Heavy Repeater.
Both weapons feature an explosive secondary fire (triggered by holding down the zoom button and then pressing the primary fire button). The secondary fire feature on each weapon does heavy damage to both heroes and vehicles.
About the secondary fire features, Johannesen commented:

Later on, Johannesen teased a buff will becoming to the K-16’s primary fire.
“[T]he primary fire will get some love,” he wrote. “Not too much, but it will be looked at.”
I’ll be curious to see what they do about the secondary blasts on the weapons. Both blasts are quite powerful and, with a successful cooling flush, can be used in relatively quick succession.
I’m also happy to see that the K-16 will be seeing a little tweak to its primary fire. One of my gripes with the weapon is that its primary fire just doesn’t seem to match up to other weapons.
