2. Several attached to Battlefront discussed next year’s sequel
First, producer Paul Keslin talked about Battlefront 2 with Eurogamer. Keslin discussed such topics as space-to-ground combat, single-player content and featuring content from TV shows/comics.
Next, EA’s vice president of investor relations, Chris Evenden, said that EA has “heard the feedback” regarding Battlefront, especially with regards to “comments around depth and single-player campaigns”. While Evenden didn’t confirm anything, he did note that the team working on the sequel is taking that feedback into account.
Finally, Keslin made a clarification after rumors swirled that DICE had confirmed a campaign for Battlefront 2. Some news outlets reported that a campaign for Battlefront 2 is confirmed; however, those statements are false.
3. Lando’s Power Blast issue to be fixed; plus Heroes vs Villain will be reverted
With Lando’s Power Blast plaguing Battlefront, hero designer Guillaume Mroz acknowledged the issue on Tuesday. Then, early this morning former lead designer Dennis Brannvall wrote that a fix will hopefully arrive soon. Mroz then later expanded on that topic, confirming that Lando’s balance woes will be fixed via a server-side patch.
Brannvall also noted that Heroes vs Villains will return to its original first-to-five method after the Rogue One: Scarif update altered the mode so that it was first-to-three.
4. Jyn Erso, K-2S0 join Galaxy of Heroes
