Weekly Wrap-Up: You get XP, you get XP, everybody gets XP!

This week, a new Battlefront Road Ahead post arrived and modded files showcased the game’s potential. Here’s SWGO’s top five news highlights for this past week:

1. XP for everyone!

Both Battlefront and The Old Republic are set for extra XP events. SWTOR is currently in the midst of a double XP event that runs until November 28. Meanwhile, Battlefront will be getting a 4X score event November 18-20. That event will go alongside a free trial of all the currently released DLCs.

2. Modded Battlefront files shows off game’s potential

Uninspired Zebra was busy this week. The data miner first edited in-game files so that Luke spawned in his stormtrooper attire. Next, Uninspired Zebra showcased what a pilotable B-Wing might look like. Finally, mods also gave us a glimpse of General Lando and Pilot Luke. Note, of course, these are mods and aren’t fully indicative of what’s to come.

3. Battlefront maps, maps and more maps!

A couple of users shared Battlefront maps this past week. One user shared a collection of maps from the base game, while another user shared a diagram of the Death Star DLC maps they drew themself.

4. “New” Ultimate Edition coming to Battlefront in November

EA announced that Battlefront will be getting an Ultimate Edition this November. While not “new” per se, this edition will be getting a price cut to US$40. According to Amazon listings, it releases on November 18.

5. Respawn’s untitled Star Wars project almost didn’t get off the ground

Respawn founder Vince Zampella recently chatted with IGN about Titanfall, which is getting released next week. The topic of Respawn’s upcoming Star Wars game also came up, and Zampella revealed that the game had a rough start, among other things.
