New Battlefront events posted; 2x score, free trial weekend ahead!
This weekend will be a busy one in the world of Star Wars Battlefront.
Thanks to the Live Events Calendar on the official site, we now know of several events planned from December 23 to 25:
- Double score from multiplayer matches.
- Free 5,000 credit bonus for logging in.
- Death Star expansion free trial. All maps and modes from the DLC will be available to play.
No time has posted as to the events’ exact starts and ends; however, EA Star Wars normally updates those details on their Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The double score weekend will hopefully allow players who haven’t hit level 100 yet to scurry up the ladder in pursuit of the Shoretrooper Captain skin. The free trial of the Death Star expansion will also be nice and while it isn’t the Rogue One: Scarif DLC, it still ties into the movie to a degree.
Note that if you are unable to log into the game on your system, you should still be able to pick up the 5,000 bonus credits by logging into the companion app on either iOS or Android. This trick isn’t confirmed just yet, but it’s worked for previous login rewards.
