Phoenix Squadron events slated for Galaxy of Heroes

Hera and Chopper on Rebels.

With an influx of Rebels TV show characters inbound for Galaxy of Heroes this month, the mobile game will be hosting a slew of unlock events.

Announced last week, the members of the Phoenix Squadron from Rebels are joining Galaxy of Heroes. The first three members are Chopper, Hera Syndulla and Kanan Jarrus.

First up is the event for the show’s astromech Chopper. Titled “Cantankerous Clanker”, the event is currently in progress. Its description from the official forums reads:

Prepare yourselves for this 4-week daily battle event! Form a team and join forces with Chopper to battle his rival droids at Chopper Base. After 10 and 25 wins you will unlock bonus missions! Play every day to unlock Chopper early and increase his star count by the end of the event.

There is also a current event to unlock Hera. This event is called “Supply Sabotage” and its description reads:

Join forces with Phoenix Squadron leader HERA SYNDULLA in this Tiered event! Travel to the Lothal Marketplace and test your mettle against Empire forces as you destroy Imperial supply shipments Be sure to aim for those crates- once destroyed, all enemies take moderate damage!

The final announced event is for Kanan. It will begin March 16. Titled “Spectre One”, its description is:

Our Rebels event continues on Lothal with Spectre One. This Tiered Event has you joining forces with Jedi KANAN JARRUS in order to acquire critical intelligence from Imperial Officers.

Note that all three events have a recommended level of 20 or higher. For finer details on the events, you can check out the Event Information post on the forums.

Besides these events, new Phoenix Squadron packs and bundles featured those three characters have been added.

While the above three Phoenix Squadron members have been announced, three more wait in the wings. The remaining mainstays from the show are: Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren and Garazeb Orrelios. All three have been promised to arrive in March, so I’d expect we’ll see them shortly!
