A teaser for EA’s Battlefront II has leaked and it looks awesome (Updated)
POTENTIAL BATTLEFRONT II SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
A teaser trailer seemingly for Battlefront II recently leaked via Twitter.
The 30-second teaser potentially confirmed that EA’s Battlefront sequel will feature “multiplayer battles across all eras”. It also teased the inclusion of characters Kylo Ren, Rey, Darth Maul and Yoda.
The game’s campaign was possibly also hinted at and will likely involve event(s) post-Return of the Jedi to tell “the untold soldier’s story”.
Space battles also make a big cameo in the teaser, as does the Imperial Raider, a ship from the X-Wing Miniatures game. Locations potentially include Endor, Starkiller Base, Takodana, Hoth, an Imperial base (or Mandalore?), Naboo and possibly Coruscant. There are also apparently rideable tauntauns and the jump pack looks like it’ll be making a return in some fashion.
Additionally, those that pre-order will get “Last Jedi heroes”, although the teaser fails to mention which characters precisely.

According to a Redditor, this video came from a deleted tweet from the official EA Star Wars account. The deleted tweet indicated that the game will arrive in November.
Personally, I think this looks awesome. I’m especially glad to see that all the major eras will make an appearance (CLONE WARS!). Plus, Darth Maul and Yoda look epic! That said, it is a bit unfortunate that it seemingly leaked accidentally.
I’m guessing that this won’t be the full trailer that will debut at Star Wars Celebration this Saturday, April 15. I’d expect that trailer will run two-plus minutes (the last Battlefront’s reveal trailer ran two-minutes, 13 seconds), but we’ll have to wait to find out. The reveal event will take place at 11:30 a.m. PT/2:30 p.m. ET and will be streamed live online.
Update 10:45 a.m. PT: The official EA France Twitter account just confirmed that Saturday will indeed showcase the “long version” of the Battlefront II trailer (H/T Battlefront FR on Twitter):
