Battlefront: More map, item details in the Amazon Rogue One DLC listing!

U-Wing on Scarif in Rogue One.

Amazon’s product listing for the Rogue One: Scarif DLC in Battlefront has been updated to include more specific details.

The listing previously included only cursory info on new items, maps and the game mode. Now, however (thanks once again to Competitorcycle), we know a bit more about what new items, power-ups and maps will be in the DLC. Again, because the details aren’t from an official source, they may change before release.

To start, the map names are:

  • Scarif Beach
  • Scarif Jungle
  • Landing Pad 13
  • Shield Gate (Fighter Squadron only)

Definitely curious to see how the ground maps vary. Hopefully Landing Pad 13 will showcase a different side of Imperial structures from what we’ve seen before in Battlefront. This also confirms that Scarif’s Shield Gate previously discussed by EW will in fact be present for this expansion.

Details on the A180’s three abilities were also revealed: It will have a blaster mode, a sniper mode and an ion launcher. No further details were revealed on the D-29, which is the pack’s other blaster.

Additionally, the Sonic Imploader was revealed to be the pack’s single Star Card. I’m not entirely sure what this weapon will be, although it seems like it might be some sort of grenade (if it’s like the Thermal Imploader).

Finally, the TIE Striker and the U-Wing have been confirmed to be included in the pack as power-ups. This presumably indicates that they’ll function similarly to current vehicles on the infantry-based maps. I am just speculating here, so I suppose it’s possible they’ll work similarly to the AI-controlled B-Wing and TIE Defenders.

The listing doesn’t include any more details about the new mode Infiltration, besides the fact that it’s “multi-stage”. However, that detail was previously announced last week.
