Top 5 highlights for the week of October 7: KOTET trailer, Battlefront teases & more!

With one full week of October down, here are SWGO’s news highlights from around the Star Wars gaming world:

1. SWTOR’s Knights of the Eternal Throne got its cinematic trailer

A new cinematic trailer was released for the upcoming expansion, which drops December 2. Three pre-order incentives were also announced for those who sign up as a premium subscriber by certain dates.

2. Dennis Brannvall gave a few hints regarding future game modes, map size in Battlefront

In a chat with Battlefront Podcast, the game’s lead designer Dennis Brannvall hinted that more multi-stage gameplay is in Battlefront’s future. He also later confirmed that more big maps will be making their way to the game.

3. Battlefront’s Death Star DLC dropped for non-Season Pass holders

On Tuesday, those who purchased the latest expansion pack for Battlefront individually received access. The DLC includes a new mode, five new maps, two new heroes and four new items.

4. A new trailer for the X-Wing VR mission was released

The PS4 VR exclusive mission, titled “Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission”, got a new trailer. We didn’t learn much new information from the trailer and the release date is still listed as Holiday 2016. The mission will be free to those with a copy of Battlefront and a PSVR headset.

5. LEGO Star Wars got new DLC

First, “Poe’s Quest for Survival” dropped for all systems on Wednesday. The new pack shows the story of what happened to Poe after he went missing when his and Finn’s TIE crash landed on Jakku. PC users also gained the ability to purchase the Droid Character Pack, which was previously a PlayStation exclusive.
